This term, our Science room was visited by eggs and chicks from Henny Penny Hatching for a couple of weeks. The students took great delight in watching the eggs hatch and the chicks grow and develop in the playpen. The students were allowed to carefully give a cuddle to or pat some of the chicks in Science lessons or with their classroom teachers throughout the two weeks. At the end of the two weeks, all of our chicks were adopted by school families and taken to their new homes! Such a wonderful learning experience for all our students, seeing life cycles in action!
